Pokerstars WCOOP
When you consider Pokerstars' reputation in online poker, it's perhaps not suprising to hear that the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is the largest online poker championship in the world.
The WCOOP is actually a series of poker meaning that a number of poker tournaments are arranged to run back to back with the winner being the player who has performed best across all of the individual games. The WCOOP is the largest online poker series in the world offering the biggest cash prizes and the world's best players.
WCOOP Qualifiers: 2010
In the early days of the WCOOP, Pokerstars came in for a bit of criticism for the fact that the buy-in fee to the series was just so high that it exluded casual players from getting involved in the action.
However, the Pokerstars customer service is nothing if not responsive and it's good to see that today there are a number of WCOOP satellites allowing players to win a seat in the series for as little as $1. It's also possible for players to enter qualifiers using just their Frequent Player Points (FPP), so they don't even have to risk their bankroll to be in with a shot of winning the big prizes.
Qualifiers for the will be starting shortly. To claim your seat visit www.pokerstars.com
