Sit n Go Tournaments
Sit n Go poker tournaments have seen a real surge in popularity recently due to their versatility, the speed of the game and the potential prize pools on offer.
Rather than having an official start time, Sit n Go tournaments start as soon as there are enough people sat at the table, meaning that a player can often log into a high traffic poker site and find themselves a Sit n Go tournament within a minute or two which is great for players who need a quick poker fix, but don't have all day to wait.
The number of players in a Sit n Go tournament varies too. Most tournaments will include 8 or 10 players sat around one table, although it's perfectly possible to find a number of Heads Up SnG tournaments too. With ten players present, it's normal for the top three players to be paid. In an eight man tournament, the prize pool will usually be shared between those finishing in first and second place.
If you're a fan of Sit n Go tournaments, we suggest you try registering at one of the following sites as (in our opinion), they offer the best SnG experiences out there.

Things to look for in an SnG site
When you're looking for a SnG site, you ideally want to find somewhere that has a a nice lot of fishy traffic. That way, you're not being kept waiting for a game and you can be fairly sure that by keeping your head at the poker table, you're going to stand a fairly good chance of getting paid.
That's why Doyles Room has been rated number one above. They have a lot of traffic at all times of the day and night, and you're not going to have to worry about bumping into as many professional or semi-professional players as you would do on somewhere like Pokerstars or Full Tilt.
Sit n Go Tournament Strategy
Due to the fact that SnG Tournaments are much shorter than their MTT counterparts, Sit n Go poker players need to be a lot more agressive in their play than they normally would be. Requirements to play a hand should be lower than normal and players should always be looking to steal blinds whenever possible.
