Pokerstars Marketing Code

Pokerstars ask all players who are registering with the site for the first time to enter a Pokerstars Marketing Code into their sign up form.

This allows Pokerstars to track where the player has come from, and perhaps most importantly what bonus to award them.

How do I know the Pokerstars Marketing Code has worked?

You'll know straight away whether the Pokerstars Marketing code has worked properly. Once you've signed up with the site, simply log in to your acconut and chose the Cashier button displayed in the bottom right hand corner of the software.

You should see a button labelled "Check my Bonus Status." Simply click on that button, and you'll be taken through to a screen which will give you details relating to the size of the bonus you can expect to receive and how close you are to clearing it.

As long as there are numbers on this screen, then you can be sure that the Pokerstars Marketing code has worked correctly.

What are the clearance rates of the Pokerstars Bonus?

All players using the marketing code mentioned above, will earn loyalty points for every hand of poker that they play for real money.

If you're a tournament player, then you will earn 5.5 loyalty points (or VPP's) for every $1 that you spend in entry fees. Therefore if you enter a tournament which costs $10+$1 to play, you will receive 5.5 VPPs.

If you prefer to play in cash games then you'll earn 6 VPPs for every $1 collected in rake (when there are 8 or more players at the table) or 5.5 VPPS for ever $1 rakes if there are seven or fewer players at the table.

To clear the Pokerstars bonus, you'll need 170 loyalty points to release every $10 of bonus cash. What's more you'll get an excellent six months to claim all of your bonus funds, which is a whole lot longer than most other poker sites offer.
