Card Rush Tournament at Party Poker

Party Poker are holding a “Card Rush” event throughout April where they’ll be giving away prize cards to 1.8m players.

The event started on 1st April and is scheduled to continue until 30th April or until the 1.8m cards are given out, so if you don’t currently have an account with Party Poker, we’d suggesting registering your details now.

Each one of these cards are guaranteed to contain a prize, so there’s bound to be a bit of a scramble for them.

Picking up your card is easy – you simply need to earn a few loyalty points by playing at a real-money poker table. Your first card will cost just 5 points with any additional cards costing 15 points each. There’s no limit to the total number of cards that a player can hold, although they can only earn 50 cards every 24 hours period.

The prizes on the cards will include a cash prize (from $1 to $5,000), a number of loyalty points (from 10 points to 25,000 points), a seat in a private freeroll (with prize pools ranging from $2,000 to $20,000) or Card Rush Points (from 1 to 20).

Obviously the more cards that you get your hands on, the more prizes you’ll end up with.

Now having read through the above, you might think that picking up Card Rush points might be the short straw as far as the prizes go, but you’d be wrong.

These points go towards a ‘Card Rush Race’ where the top 200 players at the end of the month will be given a cash prize of at least $100. A leaderboard has already been placed on the site and is being updated on a 24 hour basis.

The higher up the leaderboard you go, the bigger your cash prize:

• 1st Place: $9,000
• 2nd Place: $7,000
• 3rd Place: $5,250
• 4th Place: $4,000
• 5th Place: $3,500
• 6th Place: $3,000
• 7th Place: $2,500
• 8th Place: $2,000
• 9th Place: $1,500
• 10th Place: $1,000

One other thing to mention is that the player who finishes in every 20th place outside of the top 10 will also win a ‘Spot Prize’ worth $50 in addition to any cash prize that has already been won.
