The fallout from Black Friday took a new twist today after it was revealed that Doyle Brunson has decided that he wants to terminate his connection with the online poker room DoylesRoom.com
Brunson, who has won 10 WSOP bracelets throughout an illustrious career, has been the face of the Doyles Room since it launched in 2004.
Well here we are – one week on from one of the darkest days that online poker has seen in a long time and the events of Black Friday are still making the headlines.
In fact, they’ll probably continue to do so for several weeks/months to come.
After yesterday’s shock announcement, poker players in the US no doubt have a lot of questions about where they can now play poker online.
We’ll be constantly updating this list as events continue to unfold, but we would recommend that US players check out the following poker rooms which continue to accept US players and offer some excellent deals:
After what proved to be a very successful UBOC series, UB.com have taken the decision to add a MiniUBOC to their already busy tournament schedule.
The MiniUBOC will be played in much the same path as it’s bigger brother although the buy-in levels needed to sit down at a table will be much smaller.
It’s around about this time of year that the online poker rooms start announcing what sort of WSOP satellites they’ll be offering to their players.
Party Poker announced their qualifiers a few days ago and now it’s the turn of UB.com who it seems will be putting players first in their bid to find a Main Event Champion.
Having recently released the world’s first truly 3D poker software, 888 poker is obviously not resting on its laurels.
Their latest newsletter reveals that the 888 has now unveiled it’s latest feature: Pokercam Tables.
