Pokerstars and Full Tilt allowed to refund players cash

New events relating to the domain seizures on Black Friday continue to occur at a frantic pace.
Four of the world’s largest poker rooms were forced to shut their doors to US players and 11 defendants (including the owners of each of the rooms) were arrested after a joint operation between the Department of Justice and the FBI.

After a number of rumours suggesting their potential take over, they agreed a deal with Las Vegas giant Caesars to release a number of new games to the European market.
PKR.com partners up with OpenBet

The world’s leading 3D poker room, PKR, has announced that it will be teaming up with London based software company OpenBet.
The agreement will allow PKR to offer its members a wide range of games from OpenBet’s platform which ranges from casino games to fixed odds games. PKR will also be taking what are described as a number of ‘best of breed’ third party titles.
Titan Poker awarded Best Customer Service

This week saw TItan Poker receiving the prestigious award of the 2011 Gambling Readers Choice Award for Best Poker Customer Service.
This wasn’t the first time that Titan had won this award – in fact they’ve won it four times in the last six years – but it was the first time since 2008.
UB.com Bad Beat jackpot passes $1m

The Bad Beat Jackpot at UB.com has just got very interesting indeed with news that it has officially passed the $1,000,000 mark.
This is officially the largest Bad Beat Jackpot since June 2008, when $996,000 was paid out but the cash on offer will continue to grow until somebody holding at least four eights or better has their hand cracked.
Bodog to actively combat datamining

Bodog Poker today released information stating that they would no longer be as accessible to sites who were looking to scrape and datamine information from their room.
The announcement identified PokerScout, PokerDB and Shark Scope as particular sites which Bodog would be targeting as they believe that the services they offer “mainly serve professional players.”
